Beta Gamma Sigma, so five of them organized andstarted the present organization. The purpose of the organization is to recognize and encourage high scholarshipand a real interest in some commercial activity. Students who qualify are elect-ed to membership at the beginning of each semester.

The Beta chapter was established and installed on November 22, 1919.
