Abbots Bromley Horn Dance being performed by the The Deer Men at Blithfield Hall Staffordshire

The Horn Dance, takes place annually on Wakes Monday at the beginning of September. The horns are collected from the church at eight AM, then Horn Dancers comprising six Deer-men, a Fool, Hobby Horse, Bowman and Maid Marian, perform their dance to music provided by a melodian player at locations throughout the village and its surrounding farms and pubs.
