Tunisia/Algeria: 'Une Jolie Danseuse', a pretty dancer. Lehnert and Landrock, c. 1920. Rudolf Franz Lehnert (13 July 1878 - 16 January 1948) and Ernst Heinrich Landrock (4 August 1878 - 30 April 1966) had a photographic company based in Tunis, Cairo and Leipzig before World War II. They specialised in somewhat risque Orientalist images of young Arab and Bedouin women, often dancers.
