Cory a 30-year-old Marijuana Patient Advocate holds a sign outside of the San Jose City Hall during an “Emergency Protest” against the City of San Jose’s proposed Cannabis Ordinance that would require marijuana collectives to provide patient records to the San Jose police and limit the total number of collectives in San Jose to Ten. In 1996 California passed the United States first state law allowing the use of marijuana for medical reasons and the 2010 California Ballot will include a state law that would make it legal for any Californian over 21 years of age to posses up to one ounce of marijuana and to grow up to 25 square feet of marijuana per residence. The proposed law would also Tax the sale of marijuana. Photo by Chuck Nacke
