Van Galen. The emblem is derived from the Johan van Galen family crest (1604-1653) schout-at-night at the Admiralty of Amsterdam. After and Uccesful career, he fell on March 23, 1653 during the first English war. The original family crest shows in throat golden barriers, but this weapon is not placed on the grave monument of the sea hero, so that it is not clear whether he could feed it.
