(Nov. 14, 2016) SAN DIEGO – Servicemembers, family and friends wait on the pier at Naval Base San Diego for the arrival of the guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) from a seven-month deployment. Spruance, along with guided-missile destroyers USS Decatur (DDG 73) and USS Momsen (DDG 92), deployed in support of maritime security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region as part of the inaugural 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group under Commander, Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
