A B-1B Lancer performs a flyover in honor of the 20th anniversary of its combat debut at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. On December 19, 1998, the B-1 made its combat debut in support of Operation Desert Fox in the Middle East. Operation Desert Fox deployed a contingent of aircrew and other jets in response to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein expelling United Nations weapons inspectors out of Iraq.
