Morrum River at Kaeringahejan's nature reserve. Sweden. Morrum (or Swedish: Mörrum) River pass through the little i nature reserve, Kaeringahejan, a few kilometers before Morrum town. Morrum river is the most famous salmon river in Sweden. Anglers calls it "The Magic Mörrum river" for it's famous salmons. This photo is taken a few kilometers below the Kungsforsen damm, established in 1906 in order to power the nearby Hemsjoe power station. As the river water caused by the damm is lead into several canals the mighty Morrum river is significantly de-watered with low water level.
