Blieskastel German pronunciation: [ˈbliːsˌkast(ɘ)l] is a municipality in the Saarpfalz district, in Saarland, Germany which is divided into villages, one of the largest being Wolfersheim. It is situated on the river Blies, approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) west of Zweibrücken, and 20 km (12 mi) east of Saarbrücken. There are many Barock 17 century buildings, beside some wood frame houses, lovely coffee chops and restaurants. Close to France.
