A silver-mounted Ottoman kinjal, circa 1900 Double-edged blade with three different fullers on both sides and engraved floral gold inlay on the obverse side at the base of the blade. Walrus ivory grip scales with engraved silver and niello mountings. Wooden scabbard covered with shagreen leather and with silver fittings worked en suite. A small byknife inserted on the back. The locket and grip bear the hallmarks for 84 zolotniki. Beautiful condition.
