Sam Pressler, Founder and Executive Director of the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP), accepts an award during the 2017 NewmanÕs Own Awards at the Hall of Heroes in the Pentagon, Oct. 11, 2017. Through ASAP, veterans reintegrate into civilian life through a collaborative, community-driven, and deeply focused program model. The annual competition seeks to reward ingenuity for programs that benefit service men, women, and their families.
