Admiral Ward. A splendid crimson-red, shaded '' ^^ fiery red; it has large globular flowers with curved petals; its growth is vigorous; of desirable spread- ing habit, with healthy bronzy-green foliage. Amalie de GreifE. A desirable and very popular bedding variety, large, %vell-formed double flowers, long shapely buds carried on long stiff stems, in color a delicate satiny rose-tinted white. American Legion. A bright cerise-red, a strong vigorous growing variety with large full flowers; very free. $ each. Antoine Rivoire. An ideal bedding Rose of large size, exquisite form and coloring, which is soft peach flesh with deeper shadings; the base of the petals yellow. Arthur R. Goodwin. A beautiful rich-color- ed coppery-orange; "gold of ophir," as a visitor to our trial grounds verj' correctly called it who saw it in one of its stages of development; as the flower matures it opens to a soft salmofi pink; a good, full flower, very free and distinct. § each. Betty. After this becomes established it produces blooms of marvellous beauty, particularly so in the autumn. Its large, deliciously-scented flowers are of a glowing coppery-rose color, suffused with a golden sheen. Ca
