Canada Geese swimming on the Thames at Abingdon. This handsome flock of Greylag Geese and goslings is is crusingg in shallow waters of the River Thames by Abbey Fields. Branta canadensis is native to the arctic and temperate regions of North America, and has been successfully introduced to the United Kingdom. It can now be seen just about anywhere around the Thames.
