Single dead Chinook (King) Salmon on rocks with leaves in dark water. Ketchikan Creek, Ketchikan, Alaska.

Dead Chinook (King) Salmon in Ketchikan Creek, Ketchikan, Alaska. In 2018, returning Salmon were forced to spawn farther downstream than usual due to low water levels from lack of summer rain. This also raised the normal water temperature of the creek water which also adversely affected the returning fish.
