A Lodge & Shipley lathe used for turning cylinders during World War One. This particular lathe, numbered 20843, was part of a group of 42 Lo-Swing lathes used in conjunction with 10 Lodge & Shipley 24 lathes (20892). The photograph was taken by the Signal Corps and received on March 10, 1921.
