London Ontario, Canada - January 3, 2012. Ciity of London Council members Sandi White and Bud Polhill join locked out Electro Motive workers on the picket line. Nearly 700 union and non union members were locked out from the plant that is owned by Caterpillar on January 1, 2012 when the union rejected the last contract offer by the company that would have seen wages cut from $35 per hour to $ plus cuts to benefits and elimination of the company pension plan.
