Briksdal glacier is an arm of Jostedal glacier and therefor part of the largest glacier in continental Europe. Climate change leaves the ice retreating quite fast in some years as for example in this photo of July 2012. Der Briksdalsbreen ist ein Seitenarm des Jostedalsbreen und damit des größten Gletschers auf dem europäischen Kontinent. Der Klimawandel lässt das Eis aber in manchen Jahren schnell zurückgehen.
