PUNK power was certainly in force when thousands of rockers descended on the resort. This weekend's famous Rebellion Festival has been hailed "an amazing event" with hoteliers and bars benefiting from a surge in visitor numbers. It's good for the town and good for the local industry. The boost in trade was a welcome one for the many hoteliers who are enduring another disappointing season weatherwise. PUNK festival fever has spread across Blackpool as the resort became awash with brightly-coloured mohicans, fishnets and rocker jackets.
