Plant sprawling bush, with many runner-like branch- es, very productive. Pods round, curved, light yellow faintly splashed with purple; brittle, stringless, fine grained and of excellent quality. Seed cylindrical, bluish black splashed with pale buff; 100 per oz. ROUND POD KIDNEY WAX or BRITTLE WAX Sy2 to 6y2 Originated by Calvin N. Keeney and introduced in 1900. An outstanding sort for home use and for the canning trade. Plant large, erect, medium green, vigorous and pro- ductive. Pods handsome in appearance, medium yellow, round, slightly curved, deeply creasebacked, extremely brittle, fleshy, succulent, entirely stringless and fiber- less; the standard of highest quality.
