A Russian silver-mounted shashka for officers of the Kuban Cossacks, circa 1900, Slightly curved, nickel-plated, single-edged blade, with two grooves and a double-edged point. Floral cartouches with the tsarist cypher "N II" and the manufacturer's mark "Guzunov" below the Russian double-headed eagle etched into both sides of the base. The engraved and partially gilt (only remnants preserved) silver grip with nielloed ornamentation, slightly cracked on the front, with applied tsarist cypher "N II" in gold, two horn spacers.
