In my efforts toget to the nest I dislodged a smallfalke of rock which slightly damagedtwo of the eggs of a set of four, whichwere very nicely marked. Was downat another crevice when I heard somesqueaks and went back up to find thewounded female, still alive but thatwas all. Packed her with her eggsand left the nest. Looked at several other nests, fromwhich we obtained a set of two eggs,an incomplete set, but one week be-fore this nest had one egg in it so Ithink it was abandoned. Succeeded THE OOLOGIST 63.
