PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 10, 2018) - An AS-332 Super Puma helicopter takes off to deliver supplies to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) as it approaches the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE 8) during a vertical replenishment. Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
