Alaskan tundra wolf (Canis lupus tundrarum)


The Alaskan tundra wolf (Canis lupus tundrarum), not to be confused with the Tundra wolf (Canis lupus albus), is a subspecies of the gray wolf. It inhabits the coastal tundra regions of Alaska and often lives in packs of up to twenty wolves.
