Kosice Gothic cathedral began to build in the late 14th century and the completion of the construction dates back to 1508. It has a five-part seal sanctuary, two towers, bunk sacristy on the north side and two chapels and the porch on the south side. It is a unique internal layout of the temple, where the main nave and four lateral ships cross the mid-length of one transept of the same height and width as the nave, which creates a Greek cross. The team at the center of the cathedral there is a bulky central area and outdoor signs with three equal richly decorated portals belonging to the High Middle Ages Kamenárska art in Central Europe. Complex of houses and adjacent buildings Chapel of St. Michael and Urban tower was declared a national cultural monument in 1970.
