FIRST FLOOR. and picturesqueness, in part caused by its irregular man who builds a country-house for a family consisting of eight persons would, perhaps, find therear portions of this one unnecessary, neither wouldtheir omission impair its beauty. On the first floor we have five rooms, including adining-room, 18 by 25, marked D, into which a sitting-room, C, may open by means of folding doors, and inconnection with this latter is a conservatory, while onthe opposite side of the hall is a parlor, IS by 31, and onthe rear a kitchen.
