A huge lantern of a legendary turtle with four dragon heads, originated from the palace lantern in Ming Dynasty, is decorated on the square before the Porcelain Tower of former Bao'en Temple. Nanjing Qinhuai Lantern Festival is one of the oldest and biggest folk activities in China during Spring festival.
