TRILLOW Jones were seen at the wholesale mar- kets, with top price for the fancy at $3 per dozen. The Beauty crop is not so heavy just now; in fact, fancy long Beauties are scarce and in demand. The shorter grades are more plentiful. Kil- larney, Richmond and Maryland show fine color and stems. They are abun- dant in all grades. Some fine Ward and Bulgarie are also seen, but not any too many. Carnations are becoming extra good in color and stem and there seems to be a good crop on at present. Enchantress, Ward, White Wonder and others are seen at any of the wholesale houses in quantities enough to supply the demand, with top price at $4 per hundred. Violets are selling well and the price advanced last week to 75 cents for the best California. It is said a good crop is on for this week. Paper Whites and stevias are selling fairly well. Lilies and valley had a good week. Various Notes. The W. C. Smith Wholesale Floral Co. gave its annual feast to the local growers, at its place on Pine street, No- vember 23.
