The Kings Army comprises a number of Royalist regiments in the English Civil War Society, The re-enact events of the English Civil war at various events over the year. The regiments include Lord Hopton's Regiment of Foote, Sir Richard Grenvile's Regiment of Horse, Sir Thomas Blackwell's Regiment Of Foote, Sir Thomas Lunsford's Regiment of Foote, Sir Thomas Tydesley's Regiment of Foot and Sir William Pennyman's Regiment. As well as the soldiery (some of whom are now female) there are also many women and children who take roles as camp followers.
