Bathed by the Mediterranean, the church "Notre dames des Anges" looks like a true historical puzzle. The bell tower was built in the Middle Ages and used as a lighthouse for the Collioure harbor. The church nave was built in 1684 and attached to the bell tower. Its style is southern gothic, it has an exceptional interior architecture. The altarpiece of the main altar, in the Catalan baroque style, was carved in wood and covered with gold foil, it is the work of the Catalan artist Josep Sunyer. The dome of the bell tower was placed in 1810
