Deities carved river rocks. Kabal Spean. Kabal Spean is a park about 60km out in the countryside. I just went there thinking it’d be a nice place for a picnic, but instead I found it has these ruins instead, but wasn’t actually that nice of an area for picnicking! Located in the western region of the Phnom Kulen mountain range, Kbal Spean, commonly known as the "Valley of a 1000 Lingas" or "River of a Thousand Lingas", is a carved sandstone riverbed that has numerous sculptures dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries.
