The Royal Navy Merlin HC4 helicopter took part in the commando assault demonstration at the RNAS Yeovilton Air Day, UK held on the 13th July 2019.

This particular machine (Code "J" ZJ125) carried out a controlled emergency landing near Corfe Castle, Dorset, UK on 2/10/19 after suffering a technical problem. Due to the difficult terrain in the landing area the aircraft could not be recovered by road and remained on the ground for over a week, being made airworthy by engineers in situ before returning to it's base at RNAS Yeovilton.
