Memorial Monument of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) completed in 1956 Situated on Cape Comorin (Southern most tip of India and meeting place of three sea's).Mahatma Gandhi visited Kanyakumari in 1925 and ashes were kept for public darshan before immersion in the sea on February 12, 1948.
