Two performances of the atrocities operated by the French troops in Dutch villages in the year 1672, copied to the prints of Romeyn de Hooghe from 1673 (FM 2439). In the upper performance, French soldiers drag a man, woman and child behind an ox over the ground. Under shooting soldiers on people trying to flee with a boat. The print is numbered: 8. According to Valckenier, the print shows the events in Waverveen and Botshol.
