Upon this re-ciprocation depends the proper movement of the separatelinks as they pass over the sprocket. At the center of eachlink there is an additional pin with roller which takes thethrust from the sprocket teeth. The complete tread unit is mounted on a cast steelsprocket which is secured to the side of the regular trac-tor wheel. The tread can be removed by removing one pin, stretching the links flat on the ground and rolling thetractor off. The sprocket does not interfere with the opera-tion of the round wheel. This tread is made especially forthe leading makes of garden Above—Miller traction tread To the right—Bentz tractor lags, single-unit and two-unit types
