CONDUCTORS TO HAVE POLICE POWERS. The Duluth-Superior Traction Co. has efTected an agreement withthe city police department whereby conductors are authorized toarrest all persons traveling in the cars in their charge who shallconduct themselves in a manner violating the city ordinances. Theresponsibility for such arrests will be with the company, and not,as at first proposed, with the police officer who shall take theoffender into custody.
