November 22 practically destroyed one-half of a greenhouse, 20x65 feet, on the grounds of Samuel P. Colt. The fire started in the boiler room, where new heating ap- paratus was installed last summer. The cause is unknown, according to William A. Doran, superintendent of the Colt estate. The amount of loss is placed at several thousand dollars.
