NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (July 20, 2016) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Devonte Short, a native of Milwaukee, applies tape to the Aviation Boatswain’s Mate insignia on the island of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenance availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
