A further develop-ment of his ministry at Craigiebuckler isseen in the hall, which was built in a stylein keeping with the architecture of thechurch itself. Mr. Dingwall was succeeded by the pie-sent minister, Rev. .James V ( uthbert,, who was ordained and inducted tothe charge in February, 1893. Mr. t uth-bert was a distinguished student both inArts and Divinity at the University of. Rev. J. N. Cuthbert, B D. Edinburgh. As a Hebrew scholar he wasthe first man of his time, taking the firstprize and medal every year, and finishingwith the Jeffrey Scholarship in Hebrew andOriental Languages Ee also gained thefirst prize and medal in Biblical the completion of hi> Divinity course,lie was licensed by the Presbytery of Lin-lithgow in 1891, and immediately thereafterwas appointed assistant in I oats , where he remained until hiselection to Craigiebuckler. Mr. Cuthbertis an able and thoughtful preacher.
