Even after light falls of snow, it is sometimes possible to cut uninjured clusters. Chrysanthemums are divided into four groups: Large-flowering, Pompon, Button, and Single-flowering sorts. The varieties described below have been selected from an immense list, and are undoubtedly the best, com- prising a wide range of forms and colors. We advise planting them from April 15th to May 15th, and we alsa advise protecting them in the Winter with a litter of leaves and straw. The dates given back of the varieties indicate the flowering period in our trial grounds, fall, 1925. These, of course, may vary some at different seasons, but will be a guide.
