L Beauty de la Hougette 1129. G. H. B. Glenwood Girl was shown as a yearling by Mr. Ledyard at the New York State Fair and won first prize. She was shortly afterward purchased by E. T. Gill, of Haddonfield, N. J., and there she lived to produce 12 living calves, seven of which were heifers. All of the heifers Mr. Gill kept and developed. Having been well acquainted with Mr. Gill's herd and with these daughters of the old cow, I am safe in saying that no other cow brought out by the records has equaled Glenwood Girl as a Glenwood Girl 1693.
