Most of the bluff erosion occurred in the fall of 1972 and the spring of 1973. An addi- tional 1 meter of bluff recession occurred between October 1973 and December 1974. The beach during this time was going through cycles of erosion and accretion. Though significant beach erosion occurred in April, July, and October 1974, there was no net change in beach volume between October 1973 and December 1974. 83.
