Thepassengers visiting the park will be accommodated by anextra track and the large platforms shown under construc-tion, and will reach the park entrance safely over a bridgecarried on concrete towers. The railroad company alsohas erected on the park grounds a 6oo-kw sub-station forlighting and power. The park is divided in two sections, one of which will be. The average length of track sections is 3500 ft.; thelongest is 8800 ft. The ability to operate long track sec-tions with alternating current is, in fact, one of the impor-tant advantages of this type of control.
