160615-N-GG458-019 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 15, 2016) A landing craft air cushion (LCAC) approaches the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24). Arlington is underway in support of a Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) loading exercise (LOADEX) designed to train and familiarize Sailors and Marines with rapid response capabilities following man-made and natural disasters that affect both local civilian and military populations.
