A CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift helicopter with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced) conducts helocast training off the coast of Australia as part of Talisman Saber 2017, July 11, 2017. VMM-265 is part of the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Talisman Saber is a biennial exercise designed to improve the interoperability between Australian and forces. The 31st MEU is taking part in Talisman Saber 17 while deployed on a regularly-scheduled patrol of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
