Champion—This grows steadily in favor both as a home and market berry; improves wonderfully under hill culture, producing berries of superb size and color, and under any culture is a most productive berry ; stands heat and drought well, being late ; poor flavor till ripe, then rich and fine ; deep crimson when ripe ; pistilate. Kentucky Seedling—One of the best late varieties ; fruit large, rather soft, fine fla- vored, very abundant ; best on dry sandy soil, but grows well anywhere. President Wilder—Large, bright crimson, well flavored. Plants vigorous and mod- erately productive. per 100. Triomphe de Gand—Very large and fine ; irregular form ; bright crimson and green- ish white ; firm, and perfumed; strong grower, hardy and productive ; one of the best in cultivation for both the table and market.
