VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sep. 17, 2022)- Rear Adm. John F. Meier, Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic, right, and retired Lt. Cmdr. Leo E. Dormon, a World War II veteran, speak during the 2022 Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana Air Show. During his time in the Navy, Dornan flew in over 37 different aircraft and had over 10,000 flight hours. The NAS Oceana Air Show's theme was "Back to the Beach", as it has been two years since the last performance.
