The Cathedral devoted to the Bogolubskaya Icon of the Theotokos designed by Russian architect Konstantin Thon and built between 1855 and 1866 (with huge blue domes) and the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos (with a single golden dome) built on the medieval foundation of the white-stone palace of Grand prince Andrey Bogolyubsky, the ruler of Vladimir-Suzdalian Rus from 1157 to 1174, and the bell tower are seen in the picture.
