However, it is evident that the major part of the reflected lamina lies well below the ventral margin of the jaw and that it reaches its greatest anteroposterior extent along its ventral border. The articular is similar to that of other dicynodonts and the rounded lateral and medial condyles are clearly distinguishable from each other. A short, stout, ventrally directed retroarticular process is present.
