We found this infinitely su-perior to a minnow pau atiached to a ropeand thrown over the side of the boat as noneof the little fellows died, and they were easlysecured by means of a perforated or wiredipper. and I did the fishing for two orthree hours whilst Charley took the gun andscoured the beach and weed-beds along theshore for snipe, jdover and ducks.
