Oil tanker escorted by tugboat through Valdez narrows into Prince William Sound, Alaska

Since the ERxxon Valdez oil spill tugboats are escorting oil tankers through Valdez fjord and Prince William Sound into the Gulf of ASlaska. The tug boats has an attached tow line to the tanker and in case of an emergency can pull the tanker into safety.
